// what it is
A concept for a small hair studio, used mainly as an excuse to work in a warmer, more editorial register than the clean product-software look most of my other builds share.
// the problem
Salon pricing is genuinely awkward to publish: it varies by length, by stylist, and by what someone actually wants. Most sites resolve this by hiding prices entirely, which just moves the question to a phone call.
// decisions
- 01
Publish pricing, with its conditions
Prices are shown with the things that change them stated alongside, rather than replaced by 'from' or 'on consultation'. Someone deciding whether they can afford an appointment should not have to ring up to find out.
- 02
A different visual system on purpose
Warmer palette, photography-led, more editorial typography. Proving I can leave the default developer aesthetic was part of the point of building it.
